Lakeside BMX
Jurong Lake Gardens Skatepark, 23-25 Aug 2024

Product Design
The designs for the trophies were inspired by iconic features from Jurong Lake Gardens. The design celebrated the park’s unique features and also served to promote its opening, allowing winners to take a piece of Jurong Lake Gardens home with them.
The Street Division trophy was inspired by the central obstacle found in the skatepark’s main pavilion - a 7-stair set with a railing and ledge on each side.
The Park Division trophy replicated the curvature of the skatepark’s bowls, to give winners a slice of the park to take home.
Parkour Trophies were also designed for our friends at One Flow Battle, featuring a foundational and versatile obstacle in parkour - an inclined wall which sits as a key feature in the Garden’s parkour park.
The High-Ollie & Bunny-Hop Bar features calibrated height markings on its vertical stands, which housed 2 L-brackets on clamps that held up a wooden bar that riders needed to clear. It was essential for the bar to fall even with the slightest touch, in order to eliminate riders who did not clear the set height. More importantly, the bar falling would ensure the safety of riders, preventing them from tripping over the bar if they failed to clear the set height.
An interchangeable branding panel rests on the horizontal bar, for marketing and to help riders see the height to be cleared from a distance. This versatile design not only enhanced the event’s professionalism but also ensured long-term sustainability for future competitions.
Production of branded banners, podiums, photo backdrops, big cheques, and gift bags.
Graphic Design
The design for the key visuals celebrated the idea of urban sports in lush greenery, to reflect the new National Garden’s intent of creating spaces designed for families and the community to come together.
Collateral designs kept in line with the visual identity of the key visuals by borrowing its illustrated elements and maintaining soft, curved lines.
Over two action-packed weekends, Lakeside BMX & Mass Singapore attracted a footfall of over 20,000 spectators, showcasing thrilling tricks, high-energy performances, and a vibrant community spirit.
